Balázs Dobos and Balázs Vizi will attend the international conference entitled "Regional and Ethnoregional Parties in Europe and beyond" organized by the Université Libre de Bruxelles and the ELTE CERS Institute for Regional Studies in Pécs on December 4-5. The titles of their presentations are: Balázs Dobos: The parliamentary representation of minorities: presence, effectiveness, and the problem of evaluation. Csilla Fedinec’s new study has been published, offering an analysis of three decades of minority rights development in Ukraine: after the early period of openness and pluralism, the strengthening of a state-centric approach reshaped the regulatory framework, followed by further comprehensive legal reforms – partly driven by European integration efforts. The study can be read here.
