Work, Care, and the Hierarchies of Inclusion

Ildikó Zakariás has been awarded the János Bolyai Research Scholarship of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. The title of her research proposal is: “Work, Care, and the Hierarchies of Inclusion: Central European Teachers in Adult Education in Austria – A Monograph Project.”

Erdélyi Helikon 100

On June 24 and 25, Tamás Gusztáv Filep will participate in the conference Erdélyi Helikon 100, jointly organized by the Hungarian Literary History Society and the Petőfi Literary Museum. On June 24, from 5:00 p.m., he will take part in a roundtable discussion, and on June 25 he will deliver a lecture entitled “Marosvécs, Couleur Locale, and the Helikon of Slovensko.”

On 26 June 2026 at 5:00 p.m., as part of Dombos Fest in Mali Iđoš (Kishegyes), researchers from our institute — Judit Durst, Nóra Kovács, and Csilla Zsigmond — together with Zoltán Ádám from the Institute for Political Science, will join György Szerbhorváth for a discussion on how the Hungarians of Vojvodina are perceived from external perspectives and how these views may be reconsidered from within, in the local context itself.
